Summary: The primary purpose of this research is to determine the effects of the Reciprocal Learning Strategy in teaching on the mathematics anxiety and academic performance of grade 10 students for the academic year 2023-2024. The study utilized the quasi-experimental design, specifically a pretest-posttest design employing standardized questionnaires. The study's locale was at Handumon National High School of Getafe 2 District, 50 respondents each in control and experimental groups. Complete confidentiality in the management and data disposal was adhered to. The results revealed that both lecture method and Reciprocal Learning strategy helped to improve students' academic performance in mathematics. However, Reciprocal Learning strategy made more significant improvement compared to the use of the Lecture method. Moreover, the students had lessened their level of anxiety in mathematics after being exposed to the Reciprocal Learning strategy. Thus, the researcher concluded that Reciprocal Learning strategy was an effective strategy to lessen the students' Mathematics anxiety and improve students' academic performance in Mathematics. The strategy facilitated to reduce the students' fear towards mathematics subject. The results also revealed that there is a significant relationship between students anxiety and academic performance in Mathematics.
