Poems.
Tangere functions as a palimpsest and collage, weaving together the voices of Maria Clara, Pilosopo Tasio, Sisa, and other characters. Through this kaleidoscopic chorus, the collection becomes an exploration, an interrogation, and a reclamation. It is both a homage to the past and a leap into new poetic possibilities. Part experiment, part palimpsest and collage, part interrogation and reclamation, the poetic sequence channels the imagine voices of Maria Clara, Pilosopo Tasio, Sisa, and other minor characters of Rizal to create a resonant, kaleidoscopic chorus.
With this reinvention of the Noli, we are reminded of how poetry can help us see, hear, and touch the world anew.
