The study intended to determine the solid waste management practices of the Grade six pupils of Tagbilaran City Central Elementary School for school year 2017-2018. The study used Integrated Solid Waste Management Strategy and Waste Management Theory as bases. It was completed through the descriptive survey method using questionnaire as the data gathering tool. The t-test was used based on the findings. The most common waste generated are the candy wrappers followed by scratch papers and biscuit wrappers while the unused crayons are the least generated. The pupils oftentimes practice the four categories of solid waste management. With the computed t-value at 2.839 and the significant difference at 0.008, the null hypothesis is rejected. This means that the regular class and the gifted pupils, do not share the same practices in solid waste management. It is recommended that the implementation of the solid waste management program of the school should be strengthened to have a cleaner and more conducive learning environment. As facilitators of learning, the teachers must explain, guide, model, and encourage solid waste management and reinforce learning through their subjects in school because it is everyone's responsibility to take care of the environment. Pupils regardless of which class type they belong should feel accountable of taking care of the environment and manifest their concern through proper solid waste management.
