About the Author Philip Carrera is a former instructor at Mt. San Antonio College and the Art Institute of California, where he taught students animation, digital storytelling & interactive web design. His television work includes several shows for Playhouse Disney, PBS Kids, MTV and MTV2, including work for The Simpsons's third season DVD. Most recently, he was animation supervisor and art director to a team of talented artists and animators for a global toy manufacturer, creating original mascot designs and backgrounds, and animating numerous characters and special effects. Currently, he is an animator and motion designer for Creative Circle and their affiliates.
