Summary: The main objectives of this study was to determine if frequently expose to cartoon shows can lead to English language proficiency. Specifically, the study seeks to answer the following: English language Proficiency of the Grade six pupils of Holy Name University in terms of English subject's grades in the first grading period, English cartoon shows that the respondents are exposed to and how often, significant relationship between the pupil's English Language Proficiency and the English cartoon shows they watched. The terminal paper used a correlation study method. The chosen subjects are Grade Six pupils who were frequently exposed to English cartoon shows. The strategy or tool used is a questionnaire and the grades of the Grade six pupils in English subject in the grading period. The grades of the Grade Six pupils are correlated to their exposure in watching English cartoon shows. It enables them to develop their Proficiency in English likes skills in communication and writing.
