The project is not a total history of cinema in Cebu, but rather addresses the two productive periods that correspond roughly to the 1050s and the 1970s. Further, it is about the cinema in Cebu made during what is more or less a classical mode of film production, namely the films that emerges on video and digital formats are not treated here.
