Summary: The book is divided into nine chapters. In chapter 1 we have discussed basic fundamentals of mathematics. Chapter 2 deals with fundamentals of set theory. While chapter 3 deals with types of matrices, determinants, inverse of a matrix, rank of a matrix, system of linear equations along with their applications. In Chapter 4 we have discussed basic concepts of differentiation, limit and continuity of function and applications of differentiation. In Chapter 5 basic concepts of partial differentiation, partial derivatives of higher orders, homogeneous function including Euler's theorem, total derivatives, maxima and minima of function with their applications are discussed. Chapter 6 deals with the concept of integral calculus, method of integration, definite integral along with applications. In Chapter 7 linear programming problem, Graphical method, Simplex method, Duality principle, Two Phase method and Big-M method are discussed. Chapter 8 deals with different rate of interest, annuity, sinking funds and applications. While Chapter 9 deals with classifications and presentation of statistical data, measures of central tendency, and measures of dispersion.
