520 | _aThis study examines the financial management practices—in terms of recording, budgeting, cash handling, inventory, and debt management—and the relationship on the perceived financial performance (sales, production, income) of selected crop-producing cooperatives in Bohol. Using a quantitative descriptive method, the researchers surveyed 32 cooperatives to assess the consistency of their financial practices and perceived financial performance. The results revealed that most cooperatives, especially those over 20 years old, showed strong financial practices especially in terms of recording and budgeting, though some areas showed in need for improvement. Although negative correlation was found between financial management practices and perceived financial performance, the study recommends strengthening existing practices and addressing gaps in financial management to enhance the financial sustainability of crop producing cooperatives in Bohol. | ||
