However, compliance with this standard remains a challenge for construction companies, particularly in Bohol, Philippines. This study aims to assess the compliance of construction companies in Bohol with the mandatory requirements of PFRS 15, focusing on recognition, measurement, presentation, and disclosure. Utilizing a qualitative descriptive research design, data were gathered from 10 construction companies through semi-structured interviews with finance and accounting personnel from selected construction firms. The findings indicate that while most construction companies comply with fundamental recognition and measurement requirements, challenges persist in contract modifications, allocation of transaction prices, and presentation of contract assets and liabilities. Compliance with disclosure requirements remains limited, particularly regarding revenue segregation, contract balances, and key judgments in financial reporting. These gaps highlight the need for enhanced to PFRS 15.
