N2  - The study investigates the demographic profile, knowledge, attitude, and barriers to exclusive breastfeeding among 120 mothers of Talibon, Bohol. The study utilized quantitative research design and employed standardized questionnaire from Nguyen et al., 2016  and Dukuzumuremyi et al, 2020. The findings suggest a diverse group of respondents with varying backgrounds, predominantly married individuals and significant portion aged 18 to 288 years old. While a considerable percentage had completed high school, there were notable levels of unemployed. Majority of the respondents had 1 to 3 children and had high extent of knowledge and positive attitudes towards exclusive breastfeeding. Correlation analyses revealed a significant positive correlation between civil status and attitude towards exclusive breastfeeding. Nonetheless, no significant corelations were found between demographic characteristics and levels of knowledge, attitudes or barriers Additionally, no significant correlations emerged between knowledge, attitude, and barriers, highlighting the complex relationships among these variables. This complexity, often underestimated, necessitates a comprehensive approach. These findings underscore the multifaceted nature of exclusive breastfeeding practices and the importance of addressing barriers to support optimal infant feeding practices. In conclusion, despite the overall positive attitudes and commendable knowledge levels obscured, significant barriers persist, posing challenges to adopting and continuing exclusive breastfeeding.
