The study employed a quasi-experimental pre-test post-test design, with a pre-test and post-test administered to the students to measure any changes in their oral communication skills. The independent variable was the computer-aided task-based method, while the dependent variable was the students' English oral communication skills. The control group received tasked-based instruction without the use of computer-aided instruction tools, while the experimental group received instruction that utilized computer-aided task-based method. A total of 60 participants, consisting of 30 students from the control group and 30 students from the experimental group, were involved in the study. The data collected from the study was analyzed using a t-test to determine whether a significant difference existed in the performance of the two groups. The results of the study revealed a significant difference between the two groups, with the experimental group showing a statistically significant improvement in their oral communication skills compared to the control group. Based on these findings, the study proposes the use of computer-aided task-based instruction as an effective method for enhancing the students' oral communication skills. It is recommended that educators consider incorporating computer-based task-based instruction into their teaching practices to help students develop stronger oral communication skills ER -
